1. Try something new
We know you love your favourites, but winter is the perfect excuse to branch out. Give a new dish a whirl and don't forget to check the serving suggestions to help it really shine. You can find all our new dishes over here.
2. Make an event of it
Turn dinner into a weekly ritual. Taco Tuesday, Build-Your-Own Bao Buns or Friday Pie Night. It's amazing what a little tradition can do to the household mood levels. Bonus points if you dress up for the occasion.
3. Lean into the comfort
Fluffy socks. Candlelight. Mashed potato, and plenty of it. Winter is no time to be pretending it's salad season, so it's best to lean right into it. Savour the most comforting dishes while the weather allows, because in a few months' time, turning the oven on might be a definite no-no.
4. Theme the night
Match your dinner to your evening. Butter chicken and Bollywood or bouillabaisse and a French classic. The more abstract, the better. After all, why should all the fun have to wait for the weekend?
5. Finish with a flourish
A handful of herbs, a grating of Parmesan, crunchy garlic bread or a crisp green salad. We're big believers in going the extra mile to make dinner as delicious as can be, so don't hold back, especially when you've been looking forward to it all day long.
