Vegetable cottage pie with cauliflower and sweet potato mash

Vegetable cottage pie with cauliflower and sweet potato mash

The star of your next meat-free Monday. We’ve packed this cottage pie with loads of flavour in its hearty borlotti bean and lentil base (porcini powder is our secret weapon), cooked down with tomatoes, diced onion, carrot and celery, and topped with a nutritional yeast-boosted cauliflower and sweet potato mash that just might make you rethink the standard issue potato topping. Fully plant-based comfort food for all.

To Serve

The beauty of this dish is that it’s complete from its golden top to its pulsey toes – it goes from freezer to oven to table and needs nothing more. But no one ever said no to a green salad. At least, we didn’t.

Ingredients

We don't add preservatives or additives to our meals - we cook with real ingredients, just like you would at home. We do occasionally use kitchen pantry staples that include some additives. For example, tomato sauce contains acetic and critic acid.

Sweet potato mash (23%), crushed tomatoes (tomato puree, citric acid), cauliflower (11%), peas (7%), borlotti beans, puy lentils, onion, carrot (3.5%), celery (3.5%), oat milk (gluten), rice bran oil, olive oil, green chilli, garlic, salt, yeast (sulphites), parsley, ginger, cumin seeds, porcini mushroom, garam masala, turmeric, chilli powder

Wholesome goodness the family will love!

This dish has become a staple in our family. It's filled with lots of healthy goodness and the flavours are absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are generous and we always have one serving left over which it's a fight for who gets to eat it for lunch the next day! Highly recommend this dish.

    Delicious and nutritious

So good, feels more home cooked than my home cooked meals. I love that they use proper dried legumes so they keep a good texture.
