It’s a complete meal in itself so you could easily get away with nothing on the side but a rocket and Parmesan salad would be welcome. If you’re catering for hearty eaters, throw some garlic bread in the oven and you’ll have very happy campers.

We were pleasantly surprised by this lasagne. The ricotta is smooth and not overly salty, and there’s a generous amount of spinach without it feeling watery or heavy. The sauce is flavourful and well-balanced, and the pasta layers hold their shape—no mush. Paired with a simple salad, it’s a quick, nutritious, and comforting dinner that still feels homemade. I’ll definitely be getting this one again.
