Satay chicken

Satay chicken

Free-range chicken cooked in a peanutty, coconutty sauce - family friendly and pretty near irresistible. This is satay in the Malaysian curry style – not skewers with sauce on the side – but the spicing is very gentle, sweet and approachable, with a lick of acidity from lime juice. With coconut rice and a cucumber salad on the side, you’ll have the easiest of delicious dinners.

To Serve

Sprinkle with coriander leaves and serve with lime wedges, a cucumber salad (diced cucumber, coriander, spring onion, lime juice and salt) or plenty of stir-fried Asian greens dressed with oyster sauce.

Ingredients

We don't add preservatives or additives to our meals - we cook with real ingredients, just like you would at home. We do occasionally use kitchen pantry staples that include some additives. For example, tomato sauce contains acetic and critic acid.

Free-range chicken thighs (47%), coconut milk (coconut extract, water), onion, peanuts, chicken stock (water, free range chicken bones, onions, carrot, celery and bay leaves), lime juice, GF soy sauce (water, soybean, rice, salt), garlic, sugar, rice bran oil, curry powder, water, salt, paprika, turmeric, cumin ground, coriander ground, kaffir lime leaves, birds eye chilli

    Tasty

We haven't had a dish that we did not like from The Dinner Ladies. This one was no exception. We have found these meals to be very fresh and nutritious tasting. You can tell the difference compared to alternative companies whose meals are very processed tasting.

    Our favourite

We have ordered this a few times, and will keep ordering it! My toddler loves eating it too, so the whole family enjoy it.
