Super loaded vegie rice

Super loaded vegie rice

Wholesome, delicious and vegan to boot – this is one handy little package to stash away. We steam brown rice and add a whole colour-wheel of vegies (carrots, corn, edamame, mushrooms, onions and Chinese cabbage) and dish it up with a sachet of soy, sesame oil, ginger and maple syrup for you to toss through the dish, turning worthy into wow-worthy. Top with a fried egg and a squirt of sriracha or as a side to any dinner.

To Serve

A quick, nourishing lunch or supper on the go, with a fried egg or pan-fried tofu to bump up the protein. Goes down amazingly well with little ones, too – and you can dish it up with almost anything!

Ingredients

We don't add preservatives or additives to our meals - we cook with real ingredients, just like you would at home. We do occasionally use kitchen pantry staples that include some additives. For example, tomato sauce contains acetic and critic acid.

Cooked brown rice (42%) (water, brown rice, rice bran oil), vegetables (50%) (mushroom, Chinese cabbage, carrot, edamame (soy), sweet corn, onion, ginger, spring onion, garlic), sesame oil, salt. Dressing (soy sauce GF (water, soybeans, rice, salt), maple syrup, sesame oil)

    Tasty

As someone who is not a fan of regular peas I was stoked to see edamame peas instead in this fried rice. Flavour to die for.

    Nutty flavour

I swear I am not on the Dinner Ladies payroll yet am feeling compelled to continue to sing their foods praises.

    Great

This was a great one dish option, didn’t need any protein on the side. Will order again.
