Mac and Cheese pasta bake with creamy cheese sauce and golden breadcrumb topping, served from a baking dish into bowls.

Mac and cheese

Mac and cheese

A simple, indulgent dinner that also works as a kids' freezer standby - an oozy, cheesy pasta bake with a crunchy breadcrumb topping. Is it Italian? Is it American? If it tastes this good, do we care? A green salad on the side will cut the richness and seal the deal.
Cook & Eat

To Serve

To make a real dinner of it, serve with slow-roast tomatoes and baby spinach or any steamed leafy greens dressed with olive oil and lemon. (But we won’t judge if you just eat it as, is, straight from the foil. How good are the crunchy bits at the sides?)

Ingredients

Pasta macaroni cooked (38%) [wheat semolina, water], cream (milk), tasty cheese (11%) (milk, salt, starter cultures (milk), enzyme), anticaking agents (460), preservative (200)), milk, parmesan cheese (3.5%) (milk, salt, cultures, non-animal rennet), breadcrumbs (wheat flour, salt, sugar, yeast, bread improver (wheat)), butter (cream (milk), salt), plain flour (wheat), garlic, thyme, salt, bay leaves, mustard ground

* We don’t add preservatives or additives to our meals – we cook with the same real ingredients you would find in your home fridge and pantry. Some of these household ingredients do contain sub-ingredients, for example Dijon mustard contains sulphites and crushed tomatoes contain citric acid. We try to find products with as few additives as possible and always list every ingredient in our meals, both here and on the label.
