Korean beef bibimbap

Bibimbap is fun to say and even better to eat. It means “mixed rice” in Korean and is all about tossing everything together for one glorious bowl. Ours starts with beef brisket marinated in gochujang, soy and sesame, slow cooked for 10 hours until meltingly tender. We serve it over steamed jasmine rice with gai lan, shiitake mushrooms, and julienned carrots, plus an extra splash of our gochujang–sesame–soy sauce for drizzling.

To Serve

This bowl is perfect as is but can be levelled up with a fried egg and some crunchy kimchi on top.

* We don’t add preservatives or additives to our meals – we cook with the same real ingredients you would find in your home fridge and pantry. Some of these household ingredients do contain sub-ingredients, for example Dijon mustard contains sulphites and crushed tomatoes contain citric acid. We try to find products with as few additives as possible and always list every ingredient in our meals, both here and on the label.
