Gnocchi with chicken polpettine, tomato and bocconcini

Gnocchi with chicken polpettine, tomato and bocconcini

It all starts with pasta's potatoey cousin: gnocchi. These little potato pillows are partnered with herby chicken polpettine (aka mini meatballs) in a pretty classic tomato sugo, then finished with creamy, melty bocconcini. Bite-sized gnocchi, mini chicken meatballs and bocconcini... each one small enough to justify going back for just one more forkful, and another, and another. Whack it in the oven and dinner's done with barely a finger lifted.
