Chocolate lava cake

Chocolate lava cake

What could be finer than an individual chocolate lava pudding? A whole family-sized lava cake!! Belgian chocolate is the star here, with free-range eggs, sugar and enough flour to just hold the cake together before it cascades into an oozy, chocolatey puddle of heaven. Dish it up warm and gooey or bake on till fudgy; with ice cream on the side either way, we need hardly say.

To Serve

The best vanilla ice cream you have stashed in the freezer – or a scoop of double cream. A bowl of fresh berries on the side would be a welcome addition.

Ingredients

Sugar, free range eggs, dark chocolate (17%) (cocoa mass, sugar, fat reduced cocoa powder, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavour), plain flour (wheat), butter (cream (Milk), salt), olive oil

* We don’t add preservatives or additives to our meals – we cook with the same real ingredients you would find in your home fridge and pantry. Some of these household ingredients do contain sub-ingredients, for example Dijon mustard contains sulphites and crushed tomatoes contain citric acid. We try to find products with as few additives as possible and always list every ingredient in our meals, both here and on the label.
