Chicken Parmigiana

Chicken Parmigiana

Herbed free-range chicken breasts – cooked sous vide to keep them tender and breadcrumb-free to keep them light – layered with a sweet tomato sauce, fresh basil leaves and prosciutto, blanketed in mozzarella and Parmesan. Is it any wonder that Parmas hit the spot with everyone from “discriminating” pre-schoolers to Friday night footy fans? Whack the tray in the oven and dish up with mash and a big green salad for the easiest of crowd-pleasers.

Serve with buttered mash or roughly crushed new potatoes with olive oil. Almost any greens on the side would work, like a rocket and Parmesan salad, steamed broccolini with olive oil and lemon juice or a big pile of wilted spinach cooked with garlic and olive oil.

We don't add preservatives or additives to our meals - we cook with real ingredients, just like you would at home. We do occasionally use kitchen pantry staples that include some additives. For example, tomato sauce contains acetic and critic acid.

Free range chicken breast (42%), crushed tomatoes (tomato puree, citric acid), mozzarella cheese (6%) (pasteurised milk, salt, cultures, non-animal rennet, anticaking agent (460), preservative (200)), prosciutto (4%) (pork 96%, salt, dextrose (maize or tapioca), nitrate or nitrite (e252/e250), antioxidants (e301), cultures) onion, parmesan cheese (3%) (milk, salt, cultures, non-animal rennet), olive oil, garlic, salt, basil, thyme, lemon zest, bay leaves

    Chicken parmigiana

We've only had the chicken parmigiana so far and it was really good. The other meals are still in the freezer.
