What goes with mash? Bangers, obvs. Pies are a natural. Anything slow-cooked and casserole-y (step forward stroganoff). Ooh, schnitzel! The list goes on...The question is more what doesn’t go with mash? Umm, cottage pie! (It already has mash on it, but you could always double down....)

Ingredients

Potato (77%), milk, butter (cream (milk), salt), salt

* We don’t add preservatives or additives to our meals – we cook with the same real ingredients you would find in your home fridge and pantry. Some of these household ingredients do contain sub-ingredients, for example Dijon mustard contains sulphites and crushed tomatoes contain citric acid. We try to find products with as few additives as possible and always list every ingredient in our meals, both here and on the label.

Pierce the plastic film several times. DEFROSTED: Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and heat for a further 1-2 minutes. FROZEN: Microwave for 5 minutes. Stir and heat for a further 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, defrost and empty into a saucepan and reheat gently, stirring regularly until piping hot. The mash may separate and look lumpy and watery for a time but after heating and stirring it will come together again.
