Beefy Italian meatballs in tomato and basil sauce

These are not your average meatballs. Packed with fresh parsley, thyme, oregano, a good hit of Parmesan and little pockets of melty mozzarella — they're herby, juicy, cheesy and gloriously beefy. We roll them bite-sized, brown them off for flavour, then simmer them gently in a rich tomato and basil sauce until they’re tender enough to cut with a fork. Comfort food, the Italian way (minus the Nonna).

To Serve

Serve with pasta, crusty bread, mashed potato or a green salad.
