A pile of these makes an easy, fun dinner for kids – leftovers are great in a lunchbox – or a hand-around drinks snack for grown-ups, glazed with some of the sauce (the bites, not the adults). To make a more substantial dinner of the bites, cook and then toss, with the sauce through udon noodles with some extra Asian greens

To Cook
Defrost fully. Remove the sachet of sauce, set aside, and discard paper. Pan fry: Cook beef bites in a lightly oiled frying pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Oven: Preheat oven to 180 C FF. Place beef bites on a greaseproof paper-lined oven tray. Spray or drizzle with a little oil and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through, turn over halfway through the cooking time. Drizzle with the Tonkatsu sauce or use it as a dipping sauce.
