When someone you care about is having a tricky time, a freezer full of dinners is not only practical, it's also a little shining light at the end of the day. A simple reminder that they're not doing it alone. Now that's teamwork. And all without barely lifting a finger.

STEP 1
Pick the dinners. With more than 85 options on our ever-changing menu, there's something for every kind of eater. Not sure where to start? Our favourites have been tried, tested and tasted by thousands of hungry tums over the years. Five-star ratings don't lie.

STEP 2
We'll deliver dinner stone-cold and directly to their door. All that's left to do is stash it in the freezer and pull it out when it's needed most. The beauty of frozen dinners is they don't need a long list of preservatives to keep them fresh. Just proper meals, cooked at ours, snap frozen and ready to reheat at home.

Heat up, eat up, feet up. That's our way of saying bon appétit. A comforting dinner, a full belly and hardly any washing up in sight.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, ACT and parts of WA and TAS, so there's a good chance we can get meals to the person you're ordering for!

Can I send meals directly to someone else?

Absolutely — it's one of the nicest things you can do! Simply enter their address as the delivery address at checkout and keep a few things in mind:
- Give them a heads up – Surprise deliveries are not recommended. Make sure they know a delivery is coming so they can be home or arrange a safe drop-off spot.
- Use their mobile number – Enter the recipient's number at checkout so they receive the tracking link and delivery notifications directly.
- Nominate a safe spot – If they might not be home, add a safe drop-off location in the delivery instructions
- Check dietary needs – Take a moment to consider any allergies or food preferences before choosing their meals.
The recipient will receive SMS updates the evening before delivery, when the order is next in line, and once it has been delivered — including photos of where it was left.
You'll receive a confirmation email with the delivery date and time slot for your own peace of mind.
Can I include a gift message?

Yes! If you're sending meals directly to someone, you can include a personal gift message at checkout. A lovely way to let them know you're thinking of them.
Are the meals delivered frozen?

Yes! All meals are cooked fresh in the Dinner Ladies' Sydney kitchen, then snap-frozen at peak freshness — no preservatives needed. They travel via specialist frozen freight and refrigerated vans, so they arrive at the door perfectly frozen and ready to go straight into the freezer.
Once they arrive, meals can be kept in the freezer for 3–6 months without any loss of quality. Each meal has a best-before date printed on the label as a handy guide.
So whether you're stocking up in advance or sending meals to someone a little further away, you can feel confident they'll arrive in perfect condition.
What if the recipient isn’t home?

No need to be home, we deliver to most of our lovely customers while they’re out!
Just make sure to leave clear delivery instructions and a safe spot for your order. If we don’t receive instructions, we’ll leave it by your front door or, for apartments, under the buzzer (unless lobby access is available).
Dinners arrive wrapped in foil insulation with a large icepack, keeping them cold for hours.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?

We know every dinner table is a little different. You can filter our menu by allergens and dietary preferences, making it easy to find meals that suit your recipient. You'll also find a full list of ingredients and allergen information on every product page.
Our kitchen isn’t allergen-free. While we take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot 100% guarantee any dish is free from a specific allergen. That’s why we don’t label our meals “gluten-free” or “dairy-free.”
We cook in large batches, so we can’t modify recipes or cater for individual allergens.
How easy are the meals to prepare?

Very. Most meals require little more than heating in the oven, microwave or on the stovetop.We've already done the chopping, simmering and sourcing of hard-to-find ingredients, so all that's left for you to do is enjoy dinner. You can find preparation instructions for every dish on its product page.
