Salmon with creamy parsley and dill sauce

Salmon with creamy parsley and dill sauce

Who needs a reservation when you’ve got this? Two fillets of salmon, ready to pan-sear or oven-roast to perfection. The real magic? Our creamy white wine sauce, spiked with crème fraîche, dill, parsley, garlic and a flicker of lemon zest. Quietly luxurious and wildly low effort, this one tastes like you tried harder than you did. Just add candles and call it date night (even if the date is yourself).

To Serve

We love it with our creamy mash and a bowl of steamed broccolini.

Ingredients

We don't add preservatives or additives to our meals - we cook with real ingredients, just like you would at home. We do occasionally use kitchen pantry staples that include some additives. For example, tomato sauce contains acetic and critic acid.

Some Prep

Defrost in the fridge fully before cooking. Remove the plastic film and set aside the sachet of sauce. STOVE TOP: Lightly oil a frypan and sear the fish over medium heat for 6 minutes, turn over and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the sauce to the pan with the fish and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through and beginning to thicken. Tip: use a spatula or egg slide to press the fish down while frying for a more even cook. OVEN: Preheat oven (FF) to 200C. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and cook for 6-8 minutes, pour over the sauce and cook for a further 4-6 minutes.
