Cosy Sunday nights were made for this most comforting of all British dishes – flavoursome minced beef topped with peas and our buttered mashed potato. A one-dish wonder from freezer to oven to table – no prep, no stress and, best of all, no washing up!  

To Serve

You can get away with serving nothing at all - but a green salad is always welcome.

    Just like my nana's cottage pie

    This is one of my all time favourite dishes from The Dinner Ladies. The whole family loves it, its so delicious and nourishing and reminds me of my nana's home cooked cottage pie.
