HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

We knew this would find a place in your hearts - and it sure did. It's delicious, simple, honest, and homely - in short, it's damn near irresistible. The cake is a mix of cinnamon, ground almonds, flour, eggs and yoghurt, with cinnamon and lemon zest. We dish up the cake mix in a foil tray and top it with mixed berries and a crumble topping of melted butter, sugar, ground almonds, flour and a hint of cinnamon - ready for the oven so you can fill the house with toasty wafts of crumbly goodness.

INGREDIENTS

Blueberry, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, butter, brown sugar, caster sugar, cinnamon, salt, plain flour, ground almonds, lemon zest, natural yoghurt, vanilla extract, egg, self- raising flour.

Serves four adults

GOES WITH

Serve warm or at room temperature with double cream, ice cream or custard.

PREP, COOK AND SERVE

Frozen product. Defrost in refrigerator. Once defrosted, cook within 24 hours.  

PLEASE NOTE: This is a raw mix and should be fully cooked before consumption.

Preheat the oven (FF) to 180C, remove the plastic film and bake for 45 min (from defrosted) to 55min (from frozen), covering with foil after 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
