Steamed basmati rice
Steaming rice is actually a bit of a palaver (do you go the measuring cup route or pour water up to your second knuckle? do you use a simmer pad? Did you set a timer?) so let us do it for you. We use the absorption method which results in perfectly cooked, nicely separated basmati.
Basmati rice, salt, water.
