American apple pie
FROZEN PRODUCT. Defrost in refrigerator. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.
Please note: this is a raw pie and needs to be baked before consumption.
To cook: Brush with eggwash or milk and bake in a pre-heated 180C oven (FF) for 60-70 minutes or until golden brown and heated right through. Cover with foil and cook on for an additional ten minutes to crisp up the base.
If you want to remove the cooked pie from its foil container to look prettier for serving (or if you need to hide the evidence), use scissors to snip the foil sides at four points then fold back flat and carefully lift the pie out.
