Handmade by the fine bakers at Iggy's.  A naturally leavened, old fashioned peasant bread with a mild sour flavour.  Its complexity is derived from a blend of starters combined with a hearty influence of whole wheat flavour.
Whole wheat flour, filtered water, sea salt.

This loaf also makes superior toast and sandwiches but unfortunately doesn't slice well when just baked. If you do want to use it sliced, the best thing to do is let it partially defrost (don't worry - bread can be defrosted and refrozen with no ill effects) and slice with a serrated knife before returning to the freezer and using slices as you need them. If you want a crunchier crust, refresh the whole loaf in a 180C oven for 5-10 minutes.

 

Dunk slices in soup or olive oil and dukkah, toast and spread with Pepe Saya butter, avocado, salt and lemon, make open sandwiches of whatever you fancy.
