Home-made mango chutney
Our homemade mango chutney is much more food-friendly than the overwhelmingly acidic and jammy commercial ones available. It's a gentle apricot in colour, with discernible bits of mango, some gingery heat and garam masala spice. It comes from a Charmaine Solomon recipe, simmering diced mango cheeks with cider vinegar, sugar and spices until thick and syrupy.
Mango, cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, garam masala, salt, chilli, sugar, sultanas.
