We had a glut of herbs in the cool room - basil, mint and parsley - and being the thrifty little housewives we are, we've made a small batch of salsa verde to use it up and to bring life to any mid-week steak or piece of pan-fried fish. It's a vibrant sauce, both in its brilliant green colour and its flavours of herbs, garlic, anchovies, mustard and vinegar, and a dash of it goes a long way, so we're selling it in 120ml pots, enough for a good dollop for four people. Gluten free.
