
Maple-tamari sous-vide chicken breast
We marinate chicken breasts in a reduced mixture of tamari (wheat-free soy) and maple syrup, with a touch of garlic and sesame oil. We then seal each breast fillet tightly in a vacuum-sealer bag and simmer them in a water bath - sous vide - which results in unbelievably tender, succulent chicken with a lovely sweet/salty balance. Serving size is one marinated, cooked chicken breast - enough to shred and serve in a salad for two.

Shred or slice the chicken and add it to the super power salad bowl or over an Asian slaw. It's a versatile little beast - use it in wraps or as a sandwich filling with aoili, avocado and rocket or as a filling for rice paper rolls with julienned cucumber, spring onion and herbs.
DEFROST INFORMATION: suitable for freezing; defrost fully before use.
Open the packet and pour off the excess liquid. Slice or shred the chicken before adding to salads, noodles or sandwiches.
