We could call these "goujons de poulet" but who are we trying to kid? These are nuggets and we're out and proud.
We take chunky pieces of free-range chicken breast fillet, very lightly seasoned, then roll them in flour, free-range egg and panko breadcrumbs. There's no added oil, no strange numbers and, triumph of triumphs, the children think that they are our finest culinary moment (which just shows why children are not allowed to vote but hey, they know their fast food).
Warning: this product contains raw chicken, and must be fully cooked before consumption.
TO COOK: place, frozen, on a baking-paper lined oven tray, spritz or brush with a little olive oil and bake in a 200 degree oven for 15-20 minutes, turning once, till lightly golden and cooked through. You can also defrost and shallow-fry, as you would schnitzels, for about 5 minutes a side.
DEFROST INFORMATION: cook straight from frozen. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and cook and consume within 48 hours.
