Free-range chicken nuggets
We could call these "goujons de poulet" but who are we trying to kid? These are nuggets and we're out and proud.
We take chunky pieces of free-range chicken breast fillet, very lightly seasoned, then roll them in flour, free-range egg and panko breadcrumbs. There's no added oil, no strange numbers and, triumph of triumphs, the children think that they are our finest culinary moment (which just shows why children are not allowed to vote but hey, they know their fast food).
Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.
Please note: this product contains raw chicken and should be fully cooked before consumption.
Place on a baking-paper lined tray, brush or spray with oil, and bake in a preheated 200C oven for 12-16 (from defrosted) to 15-20 minutes (from frozen) turning once, or shallow fry in 5mm of oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, turning once until cooked through.
