Chicken with fine herbs
This comes as a packet of marinated, sliced chicken breast and another of the finishing sauce. For the sauce, we cook down garlic, onions and carrots, then add home-made chicken stock and white wine, which we reduce to intensify the flavour. Two sorts of mustard (Dijon and seeded) add some punch and we finish the sauce with loads of fresh herbs - parsley, chives, dill and chicken's favourite little herby friend, tarragon.
Free-range chicken, onion, carrots, garlic, seeded mustard, Dijon mustard, parsley, chives, dill, tarragon, white wine, olive oil, salt, free-range chicken stock (free-range chicken bones, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, water, peppercorns, bay leaves, parsley).

This will make a lovely dinner with a simple salad on the side or serve with roasted potatoes, buttered mash or pasta. Freshen it up with whatever herbs you have to hand scattered over the top and add lightly blanched green vegetables to cover all your bases in one dish. If you're not worried about calories, a blob of creme fraiche stirred into the reheated dish wouldn't go astray.
Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.
PLEASE NOTE: this product contains raw chicken and should be fully cooked before consumption.
Defrost fully, then heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat and sear the chicken pieces till opaque and no longer raw-looking. Add the sauce and bring to a simmer, till the chicken is fully cooked. Stir through cooked green vegetables (beans, asparagus, broccolini, etc) before serving.
