Chicken stir fry strips with ginger, honey and cashews

HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

We marinate strips of free-range chicken breast fillet in ginger, garlic, oyster and soy sauces, five spice and honey.  In addition to the marinated chicken, we provide you with a sweet and salty finishing sauce and toasted cashew nuts. 

This dish is ready to be flung in the wok with whatever vegetables take your fancy.


INGREDIENTS

Free-range chicken, light and dark soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, five spice, honey, ginger, garlic, cashews.

Sauce: soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, sesame oil

Tree Nuts, Gluten, Shellfish, Sesame, Soy.

Peanuts, Dairy, Fish, Egg, Sulphites .

SIZES

Small:
Serves two adults with vegetables and rice or noodles.
Large:
Serves four adults with vegetables and rice or noodles

GOES WITH

Add vegetables of your choice - broccoli, bok choy, choy sum, red pepper, spring onions, mushrooms.

Serve with coconut or basmati rice or noodles.

PREP, COOK AND SERVE

Frozen product. Defrost in refrigerator. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: this product contains raw chicken and should be fully cooked before consumption.

Defrost fully before cooking. Heat some mildly flavoured oil in a wok or frying pan, then add the chicken, flipping and stirring for about 4 minutes or until just cooked, then set aside. 

Add some prepared stir fry vegetables (not supplied) and cook until just tender. Return the chicken and its juices to the pan, stir through the sauce and serve, topped with cashew nuts.
