Prosciutto and Parmesan pizza (do not use)

HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

We start with a very thin pizza base, spread with our own tomato sauce (slow-cooked tomatoes, onions, garlic, thyme), and scatter on fresh basil, slices of mozzarella and prosciutto, before covering the pizza with a dusting of freshly grated Parmesan. 

INGREDIENTS

Pizza base, tomatoes, onions, olive oil, garlic, thyme, tomato paste, fior di latte mozzarella, basil, prosciutto, Parmesan.

SIZES

Individual:
Serves one adult or two small children

GOES WITH

After baking, throw a handful of rocket on the pizza and/or serve with a salad of baby leaves, finely sliced radish and fennel, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice.

PREP, COOK AND SERVE

Suitable for freezing.

Preheat the oven to 225C and carefully slide the pizza out from the packet straight onto a hot oven rack until bubbling and beginning to brown (approx 5-7 minutes). If frozen, place in the oven as above straight from the freezer adding a couple of minutes  to the cooking time. 

DEFROST INFORMATION: best cooked from fresh or frozen. If defrosted, the pizza will be floppy.

Cooking instructions are guidelines only. Ovens vary; please adjust cooking times accordingly and ensure your food is piping hot before serving.
