Our meatballs are a classic Italian blend of pork and veal mince, which we mix with ricotta for softness and lemon zest,  thyme, onion and garlic for added flavour. We brown them in the oven to reduce the amount of oil needed and simmer them in our homemade sweet tomato sauce. We then toss them through penne and dish them up with a sprig of basil, ready for you to simply heat and eat.

  • Individual:Serves one adult.
  • Small:Serves two adults.
  • Large:Serves 4-5 adults.
  • Extra Large:Serves 6 adults.
Serve with plenty of grated Parmesan, a grind of black pepper, some extra basil and a green salad.

To microwave from frozen, pierce film and heat on high for 5 minutes.  Gently stir and microwave for a further 4 mins or until heated through. Allow to sit for 1 minute before serving with grated Parmesan.

If defrosted, microwave in 2 minute bursts, stirring in between, till piping hot.  Allow to sit for one minute before serving with grated Parmesan.

Defrost information: May be cooked straight from frozen or defrost overnight in the fridge. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and consume within 48 hours.
