In addition to toasted spices, we add some currants to our kofta mix - you won't notice them but they add an intriguing background sweetness to the savoury lamb.  These are made into little flat discs, fried and dished up 9 per tray.
Lamb, Onion, garlic, egg, currants, corn flour (gluten free), ground cumin, fresh and ground coriander, turmeric, salt.

Serve with pita bread, hummus, harissa and chopped tomato and cucumber salad or tabbouleh. Also good as hand-around food with drinks, dipped in hummus or chilli sauce.

Frozen product.  Can be cooked from frozen. Place koftas on baking paper-lined trays and bake in a preheated 180C oven for 25-30 minutes (from frozen) or until golden brown and cooked through.
