Lamb and harissa sausage rolls

HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

We combine lamb mince with toasted ground spices, home- made harissa, spinach, and roasted red capsicums.

The mix is wrapped in a delicious butter puff pastry ready to be cooked in the oven.

Although they are made with harissa they are not overly spicy, so perfect for both kids and adults!

INGREDIENTS

Lamb mince, puff pastry (wheat flour, butter (cream), water, salt, vinegar), milk, onion, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, salt, yeast, dextrose, water), roasted red capsicum [peppers, water, sugar, salt, vinegar], spinach, harissa [roasted red capsicum [peppers, water, sugar, salt, vinegar], olive oil, garlic, cumin ground, coriander ground, chilli, salt], olive oil, salt, garlic, fennel ground, coriander ground, black pepper

SIZES

Small:
6 Sausage rolls

GOES WITH

Tomato sauce, chutney or a minted yoghurt.

PREP, COOK AND SERVE

Preheat oven (FF) to 200C. Place sausage rolls on baking- paper lined tray, brush with egg-wash or milk. 
DEFROSTED: cook for approximately 20-30 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. 
FROZEN: cook for approximately 25-35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
Flip and cook for a further 5 minutes to crisp the bases of the rolls if needed. Serve with tomato relish for dipping. 
Ovens vary, please adjust cooking times if necessary.
