Texan beef with corn, sweet potato and jalapeno lime crema
We rub the beef brisket in a mix of spices and mustard and cook slowly overnight. Then we shred the beef and stir it through our own bbq sauce. The beef is served with roast sweet potato, corn and black beans tossed in a herb dressing.
It comes with a sachet of jalapeno lime crema to drizzle on top.
Defrosted: Microwave for 3 minutes until piping hot, serve with a dollop of jalapeno sour cream.
Frozen: Defrost the sour cream in a bowl of warm water and then microwave the dish for 6 minutes stirring halfway through. Serve with a drizzle of jalapeno lime crema.
Microwave ovens vary considerably. Please adjust heating times if necessary.
Can also be heated in a 200-degree oven till piping hot. Remove the sachet and cover with foil before reheating.
