Marinated teriyaki rump steak
A 400g rump steak, trimmed, marinated in a reduction of soy (gluten free), mirin, garlic and ginger, and ready for a quick sear on the bbq or griddle pan. Remove from packet, pat dry and cook on an oiled hot plate or pan for about four minutes a side. Rest before slicing finely and serving with the soba noodle salad.

Slice the cooked steak across ways and serve with the soba noodle salad or steamed green vegetables or in a salad or use to stuff an Asian-inspired baguette with pickled vegetables and kewpie mayonnaise.
