
Beef teriyaki with pickled vegetables
The trimmed rump steak is marinated in a reduction of soy, mirin and brown sugar, mixed with garlic and ginger. It comes vacuum sealed, ready for you to cook on a griddle, grill or BBQ. It comes with a side dish of julienned, lightly pickled cucumber and carrot.
Rump steak, soy sauce (gluten free), mirin, garlic, ginger, brown sugar.
Vegetables: cucumber, carrot, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, water.

This clean-flavoured recipe is light and healthy; those who want to give the dinner a bit more heft can serve it with rice or noodles.
Cook a packet of soba noodles and dress with rice vinegar, mirin and a dash of sesame oil, toss through some sliced spring onion and finely chopped ginger and serve with the beef strips and drained vegetables.
Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.
Please note: this product contains raw beef and must be cooked before consumption.
Defrost fully before cooking on a preheated griddle, BBQ or oiled hotplate for about 4 minutes a side. Rest while you remove the vegetables with a slotted spoon from their pickling liquid to a plate. Slice steak into fingers and strew the slices over the vegetables.
