HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

First we prep and just cook all the veg - carrots, corn, edamame, mushrooms and Chinese cabbage. We then steam brown rice till nutty and tender and prepare a finishing sauce of soy, dry sherry, sesame oil, ginger and maple syrup. We mix the rice, sauce and veg and finish the dish off with a sachet of crisp fried shallots for a crunchy sprinkle.
