HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT

We coat almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, shredded coconut and pepitas with coconut oil and a bit (we go easy on the sweetness) of maple syrup and vanilla and bake it in a low, slow oven, turning regularly, till all the bits are evenly golden and the smell wafting up the stairs is enough to drive us all crazy. We then mix it though with crushed cacao nibs and chia seeds. Oh man, is it good.

GOES WITH

Try not to eat this straight from the packet, especially in the car. It has dangerously addictive snacking qualities. Also great with Greek or coconut yoghurt and berries.

We topped over oven-baked fruit for an insanely easy and delicious Mother's Day dish. Dessert, meet breakfast!

PREP, COOK AND SERVE

Serve with yoghurt and berries or fruit, or on its own as a snack.
