Everyone loves good food. Some people even love cooking. But week in, week out, shopping, cooking and planning for dinner can become more of a time-consuming chore than a pleasure.

That’s where the Dinner Ladies come in. We aim to take the stress out of preparing dinner by delivering it to your door, ready to cook.

At the Dinner Ladies we do not make TV dinners. All our dinners, with the exception of some soups, require a degree of preparation to be ready for the table, however this is always very simple. For example, our fresh pies and lasagnes need to be baked in the oven; you’ll need to steam some rice to go with our curries or to boil pasta while you heat a pasta sauce.

Each week, we will email you to let you know what we’re cooking fresh for the following week. (See What We’re Cooking This Week for this week’s menu.) When you place your order via this website, you will be given a delivery day and any other details you need for delivery to your area.

Your dinners will be packed with ice in a foam box that will sit happily on your doorstep all day if necessary. All our orders require a $5 deposit for the use of this foam box; when you leave the box out for collection with your next delivery, we will tuck $5 in with your new order.

If you have any concerns about the use of polystyrene, don’t worry, so do we. We use these boxes again and again and when they finally collapse, we send them off for recycling.
